Seagull Industries for the Disabled, Inc. is a private, non-profit social services agency serving individuals with physical, mental and emotional disabilities in Palm Beach County, Florida. They assist disabled individuals with skills assessment, resume and reference development, interviewing and job seeking training, up to date information on the job market and by direct referral to employers. Programs include the Vocational Evaluation and Assessment Program, which provides comprehensive screening and evaluation aimed at assisting the individual served in establishing a realistic vocational goal. Their Job Placement Program provides job development, on-the job training, and follow-along services. They serve individuals with a wide range of disabilities including mental retardation, traumatic brain injury, blindness, visual impairment, physical disability, mental illness, and substance abuse.
