The United Nations was formed for Development, Human Rights, Peace and Security for all people aroundthe world.  One of the goals of the UN is to "Leave no one behind."  This is their goal for 2030 and to take the needed steps forward they have enacted the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Each year on December 3rd the UN observes IDPD and has set as the theme for 2018:  "Empowering persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality."
The UN's goals are great! No one should be left behind and a day for persons with Disabilities is encouraging.  Every December 3rd we can reflect on what we have done and what we could do.  The theme for this year of Empowering, Inclusiveness, and Equality for those who have disabilities should bring attention to the problems those with disabilities go through.
People with and without a disability are the same, we just have different obstacles to deal with which means we should all help each other as equals and friends.
We are all on this planet together and we all should try and get along together.  Look for commonalities between all the people you come into contact with and maybe the UN's goal will be met.
