New sign International Deaf/Tek, Inc. employment opportunities for deaf people and people who work in fields serving the deaf. was the first electronic mail network dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing communities. The network was established in 1978. Between 1978 and 1982 DEAFTEK®.USA pioneered national deaf networking and electronic mail testing with European countries. DEAFTEK®.USA resided on SprintMail® DEAFTEK®.USA is now focused on employment opportunities for deaf people and persons that serve this population. Organizations, agencies, schools, business and other entities wishing to fill positions may send employment announcements at no charge to this website. El Paso Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing offers comprehensive employment services, including resume development training, application training, videotaped interview training, job search training, job placement, on the job training and job coaching. For more information, call (915) 544-6032.

Methodist Mission Home, located in San Antonio, via their Southwest Center for Higher Independence, offers employment training to people who are deaf or hard of hearing and to those with other disabilities. They offer every step needed for gainful employment, from vocational evaluation to developing job behaviors that are valued in the real world to job search and finally on-site job coaching.
