Mini hops Gymnastics: Adaptive Gymnastics Adaptive programming uses the sport of gymnastics and focuses primarily on gross motor movements. Understanding that the level of participation varies with each student and their level of physical or cognitive independence. They use the gymnastics apparatus and adapt the skills to each individual and their abilities. Their program has 4 levels of classes ranging from (1) that has the most support and (4) with the least amount of extra support. It all begins with an Intake form that helps them determine where the child begins their MHG gymnastics journey. Minnetonka- Hopkins Gymnastics Association, aka Mini-Hops, is a premier athletics organization in the Northwest Suburbs of Minneapolis. Established in 1976 as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, it offers gymnastics and youth fitness activities for ages 6 months to adult in a safe, wholesome, family-friendly environment for Plymouth, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, Wayzata, and the surrounding communities.

Special Needs Gymnastics is for persons of any age that require special attention. We offer classes and prices to work with parents' busy schedules and budgets. Private and semi-private classes are offered. The basic gymnastics equipment and other fun activities are used to teach the students their skills.
