In addition, to aid individuals in their research efforts we provide a list of government links to agencies and guides to accessing legislative information and assessing legal representation. Legislation is where some of the most significant changes that affect people with disabilities are made. In order for real changes to occur, it is necessary to have an active voice in society. Become more aware of legislative policies and procedures that you can take a stand on issues that affect your life. We encourage you to take an active role in your community by staying aware of changes, participating in events, and utilizing the right to vote.
