"Little progress can be made by merely attempting to repress what is evil;
our great hope lies in developing what is good." - Calvin Coolidge

December 3rd is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with the theme:
Break Barriers, Open Doors for an inclusive society and development for all.

In honor of this day, we encourage you to call your U.S. Senator and let them know
what it can mean to people with disabilities to ratify the U.N. Convention on the Rights of
Persons with Disabilities.  The U.S. has yet to ratify the treaty although 69 countries have done
so.  Encourage the U.S. to develop that which is good, provide leadership in upholding the rights of people with disabilities.
You can be directed to each of them by calling (202) 224-3121 TODAY.
When you are transferred to your Senator, just give your name, zip code,
and say "I support the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities."
That's it!
