"Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you can help them become what they are capable of becoming."

--Johann Von Goethe (1749 - 1832)

This quote reminds me to pay-it-forward.  Today I was short a few cents to buy a bottle of cold-brewed green tea and someone graciously gave me some more change so I could purchase the tea.  I felt a little embarrrassed, but I also felt great that a stranger would help someone out of a jam.

I feel so good that I am almost going out of my way to continue to pay-it-forward. Doing the good deed for someone can make you feel great and it makes the world a better place.

It may seem like it takes a lot of time and effort to pay-it-forward, but as can be seen with my situation, it does not take much time.  With little effort you can pay-it-forward. Keep a conscious eye on the world and look to make it a better place with big or little contributions to humanity.
