"Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.  You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & other stars; you have a right to be here..."

-- Desiderata-- Found in Old Saint Paul's Church, Baltimore, Dated 1692

When life has thrown you a curveball and things are not going well don't be hard on yourself.  All of us have setbacks.  Remember, you belong and have a purpose on this earth.

Do small tasks that you feel can help you meet your goals.  Take classes in an area you are trying to get a job in or read a book to improve yourself.  Keep yourself busy and if you do think about your situation, dream a little about where you will be in the future.  Life is full of ups and downs, and keeping a positive attitude can go a long way in relationships and all your life goals.

Look at life as the stock market.  Individual stocks go up and down over time, but in the long run, the stock market always goes up.  Losses can happen to people just like individual stocks can plummet, but remember when your stock goes down there will always be a new start-up that can take you higher then you imagined.
