National Council on Seniors Drug & Alcohol Rehab is a non profit organization with a mission to educate and provide assistance to seniors struggling addiction as well as caregivers and family members with concerns. Their primary objective is to effectively halt the growing silent epidemic of senior addiction. They attempt to answer every individual request for help with local, on the ground providers which may include government, non-profit and professional rehab assistance providers. Northeast Rehabilitation Health Network serves New Hampshire and Massachusetts with a number of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. They offer specialty inpatient programs to treat brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputees and those in need of neurological rehabilitation, among others. The Rehabilitation Research Center, For Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury located in the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA provides in patient rehabilitation, coordinates community programs (like peer support), and conducts research. Georgia
Health South Walton Rehabilitation Hospital located in Augusta, Georgia attempts to improve the health and enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. They are the only rehabilitation hospital in this area. They offer a variety of services to individuals with disabilities, such as acute and subacute medical rehabilitation programs, as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy. Other programs at the hospital include the Walton Community Services, the Walton Foundation for Independence and the Walton Options for Independent Living.
Massachusetts
New England Sinai Hospital and Rehabilitation Center is located in Stoughton, Massachusetts. They provide inpatient, outpatient, transitional and home care services to those who have suffered from stroke, amputation, orthopedic injury, traumatic brain injury, progressive neurological disease, and pulmonary disease. Methodist Rehabilitation Center is the only freestanding physical rehabilitation facility in the state of Mississippi. They offer a 124-bed facility, which provides comprehensive medical rehabilitation programs for individuals with spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, and other neurological and orthopedic disorders. Center for Hearing and Communication is the world's leading not-for-profit hearing rehabilitation and human services agency for infants, children and adults who are hard of hearing, deaf, and deaf-blind.
