National Plan Alliance is the only non-profit organization in America dedicated solely to meeting the planning needs of families with adult children having lifelong disabilities. There are 26 PLAN affiliates in 21 states. PLAN programs have partnerships with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, ARC, the Mental Health Association and UCP as well as the John Kitchen Special Needs Center. Wisconsin
Developmental Disabilities Information Service, INC. is a private non-profit agency serving adults and children in the Southeast Region of Wisconsin who are diagnosed with developmental delays encompassing severe emotional or physical disabilities that create substantial limitations in pursuing daily activities. The Disability Resource Center of Milwaukee County: Older Adult Services: Long Term Care Planning Long Term Care is ongoing assistance with basic activities of daily life such as: eating, bathing, dressing, or getting in and out of bed. The Disability Resource Center of Milwaukee County provides FREE information and assistance regarding community resources and services for adults with differing abilities ages 18 to 59. DRC staff assist individuals to plan for short-term and long-term needs, access community services and resources, and learn about programs and benefits available.
