New Sign Adaptive Skiing Resort Guide, Top Destinations - This adaptive skiing resource provides people with disabilities the opportunity enjoy snow sports at the most adaptive-friendly ski resorts throughout North America. This resource informs adaptive skiers of all levels how they can access and enjoy programs at many of the major resorts in the US and Canada.

Foresight Ski Guides, Inc. is a Colorado non-profit organization founded to provide a variety of services to blind or visually impaired people who want to ski, snowboard, and enjoy the outdoors. For more information, call (866) 860-0972 or e-mail ForesightSkiing@aol.com.


Maine

Maine Handicapped Skiing (MHS), a non-profit organization located in Newry, Maine provides standard and adaptive ski, snowboard and snowshoe equipment, and specially trained volunteers to work with and instruct children and adults with physical disabilities. In addition to offering skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing, MHS also offers an opportunity to participate in a number of outdoor summer sports such as kayaking, canoeing, handcycling and horseback riding.
