A major way that caregivers can reduces stress is to GET HELP!
If most of the caregiving is done by you, be sure to ask for help when necessary. We know that isn't as easy as it sounds and you may be concerned whether the caring person can really help to give care to your loved one, but step back and think about how other people could help and who you could ask.
Letting people know that the person who you care for needs a team to support them through their life journey is another way to approach finding help and getting others involved. Even if it is only one task or for one hour, it will benefit the cared for and the caregiver.
