Share a Safety resource
« on: July 14, 2005, 11:17:43 AM »
Please understand that there are many individuals that may be experiencing similar circumstances as you. Each of you may know of a resource that may help others work out solutions to their problems and questions. Please SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE of a great  safety resource whether it is a great website, safety program or community organization,  so that everyone in the NHU Community may benefit. If each person would take a little and each person would give a little, the collective sharing of knowledge would make a significant difference for all of us.   :)

For more resources, visit our NHU section on Safety

Re: Share a Safety resource - Free Guide on Medication Recalls
« Reply #2 on: November 16, 2016, 09:37:26 AM »
Recall Guide is a free, non-commercial tool that provides access to information about FDA recalls, warnings, hazardous interactions, and other important information about your prescriptions and medications. Recall Guide constantly monitors over 68,000 over-the-counter prescriptions and medications to keep its users safe and conscious about their health. Depakote and Xarelto help many people but are unfortunately often in the news due to potentially dangerous side effects and recalls. These are just two of the many medications that Recall Guide can help prescribers continue to use while also being conscious of their safety.

You also can create an account to follow your medications to see if there is a recall on them. You need to sign up to read the articles on the website.
