Conversations on Disability
« on: May 31, 2005, 11:44:25 AM »
Following is a discussion involving NHU and a parent of several adult children with disabilities. This discussion focuses on the importance of sharing information, how the Internet can facilitate this and many other coping and advocacy topics
"I think one of the big things that people aren't aware of is the fact that a family with a child with a disability has little communication with other families. [Many families] have no information [from other families] to help them get where they need to go."  - Disability Experiences:  Conversations on Disability -

Ben Drew, founder of Openfuturelearning.org has shared this video of conversations with families.

It reveals the obstacles, hurdles, changes and much more they have endured because they were of course, caring, involved families.
