There are many computer recycler programs that are taking used computers, refurbishing them and offering them back to the public. Did you know, at NHU through our Access Technology Computer Redistribution Program, we offer used computers to people with physical or developmental disabilities living in Southeastern Wisconsin who have low income for use in their own homes. Along with the computer grant, we offer basic computer training. We also offer computer grants to local area non-profit organizations who are willing to train people with disabilities?
Instead of feeling defeated by life, disability and isolation, a computer grant can offer a person with disability the opportunity to learn and socialize. People are empowered by self-confidence, self worth and are ready to take on the world as they become contributing members to our communities.
