American College of Rheumatology (ACR) is the professional organization of rheumatologists and associated health professionals who share a dedication to healing, preventing disability, and curing the more than 100 types of arthritis and related disabling and sometimes fatal disorders of the joints, muscles, and bones. This website offers patient resources including information on every kind of arthritis as well as how to find a rheumatologist and information on quality of care. Membership is for health professionals but you can view the information for patients.

Arthritis Foundation is the only national voluntary health organization helping the 70 million Americans with arthritis and chronic joint symptoms take greater control of their disease through a variety of actions. The foundation must ensure that the millions of Americans who already have arthritis, and the millions more soon to be confronted with the pain and limitations of the disease, are able to maintain an active lifestyle and participate fully in work, family, recreation and society. Their mission is to improve lives thour leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related disease.
